Unreal & Wwise Audio Implementation
Technical Audio Designer Test video submission – 12/2020
The two videos were submitted within five days since receiving the notice.
They illustrate the game audio implementation of:
- Targeting Missile Launcher (Fire, Targeting, Impact sounds)
- Footsteps on animation depending on the character speed (Timeline node, RTPC, Switches)
The videos include both the Unreal blueprints explanation and the Wwise project setup. At the end of each video, it follows a Wwise profiling session describing the implementation by analysing the captured data.
During the recording of the screen, while playing/testing the game, the videos drop frames; the laptop could not execute Unreal Engine, Wwise and the screen recording simultaneously with no flaws.
For a more in-depth written analysis of the implementations, I will further write several tutorial blog posts.
